A$AP Ferg, residing trap lord of the game, has long been known for his straight-out-the-trunk anthems. Today, however, he takes a turn towards more pop-nourished pastures with the release of "Strive"; a club-ready collaboration with the one and only, Missy Elliott, that leans on the four-the-floor glory of house without feeling overly nostalgic or even remotely dated. The track -- a joint production effort from the ever-present, DJ Mustard, and Ferg's longtime production chief, Stelios Phili -- stems from Ferg's much-anticipated sophomore album, Always Strive And Prosper, arriving next Friday, April 22nd via RCA.
