Anthony Valadez stopped by the boards at Okayplayer.com to drop the "Life Round Here" (Rework) - his take on the James Blake track "Life Around Here" from his latest LP Overgrown. Valadez mixes the bright and bottom-heavy original down into a stop motion production featuring bursts of Blake's honeyed vocal peeking from between the keys, snare and strings. And then there were the space chords. Antvala amps the levels and synths at the break for a head-nodder of a track that folds Blake's original vision inside of itself to produce a bit of sonic origami that absolutely justifies a replay. What you are about to witness is Valatronica at its finest. Peep game.
