Andre 3000 x Capital Cities
Capital Cities, a pop rock duo from Los Angeles, California have snatched up Andre 3000 to sing on their funky new wave track, "Farrah Fawcett Hair." The song does all it can to stick out from other feel-good summertime joints. First of all, it features a narration from NPR's Frank Tavares and many other vocal overdubs peppered throughout the synth-heavy groove. This is Dre's second release this year, the first being amuch-discussed Amy Winehouse cover with Beyoncé. His hook is catchy and adds to an overall tasty track (on a more serious note, our heartfelt condolences go out to Andre and his family as they deal with the passing of his mother Sharon Benjamin-Hodo earlier this week).The song appears on Capital Cities' debut album In A Tital Wave Of Mystery out this coming Tuesday, June 4th via Capital Records.
