Andra Day's a name is one you should all be more than familiar with by now. If not for her stunning debut visual for the woozy, soul-slathered single "Only Love" (helmed by Spike Lee, no less!) then at least for the heads that she's turning in the modern r&b game. One of those heads happens to be the immutable and immeasurably dope soul man known as Raphael Saadiq, who penned her latest outing "Gin & Juice," which shows a love for the blues balladry of yesteryear, but pedestaled by Day's brawny howl. A live acoustic take of the track has been recorded for your listening and viewing pleasure, but the full studio version of the track will be found on her forthcoming major label debut Cheers To The Fall, out August 28th on Warner Brothers Records with preorders currently underway on iTunes.
