Aminé Goes Dumb In New "REDMERCEDES" Music Video
The creative hi-jinx of Aminé knows no bounds.
Yesterday (Apr. 7), the critically-acclaimed, multiplatinum-certified rapper from Portland, OR released the music video for his latest single, “REDMERCEDES,” and we’re all the better for it.
Self-directed by the West Coast wunderkind, “REDMERCEDES” was also written by Aminé, and finds us at the fictional “Quincy’s” car dealership where he plays multiple characters in this hilarious take at what it would be like if roles were subtly reversed in real life.
Meanwhile, the track is an immediate hit (similar to “Caroline”) and imbued with irresistible energy that makes “REDMERCEDES” a catchy cut to play on repeat. This shouldn’t come as no surprise as the song has been played over 3 million times on Spotify streams and received praise from almost every music publication in the game.
With hilarious cameos from Leon Bridges and Kari Faux, “REDMERCEDES” is chocked full of ridiculous bits that you’re just going to have to see for yourself. So, without any further ado, please press play on “REDMERCEDES” below and have a good laugh at Aminé expense.
