Aloe Blacc follows the recent release of his Lift Your Spirit LP with a full stream of the project, which dropped on March 11th via XIX/Interscope. The 12-track follow up to his 2010 Good Things LP and the more recent Wake Me Up EP continues to display his knack for melding genres with a pop-driven mash of funk, soul and hip-hop. The project combines a nod to Elton John with a formidable horn section and a heavy dose of dance jams. The stream follows his recent reunion with Exile during the Okayplayer x Soulection showcase at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas - a triumphant display that proved changing direction hasn't affected his skills.
