It's summer and we all know what that means -- the Afropunk Festival is right around the corner. Afropunk was cancelled last year due to Hurricane Irene, but no worries, it's returning to the usual Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn for their 8th annual festival on August 25 - 26. This year's line up consists of a diverse group of artists, including Erykah Badu (featuring the Cannibanoids), Gym Class Heroes, Janelle Monae, Das Racist, Skindred, Toro Y Moi, Reggie Watts, Spank Rock, Ninjasonik, Toshi Reagon and many more.
