ACLU Opens A Direct Line In 18 States, Launches 'Mobile Justice' App To Record Police Conduct

Police departments across the country may have you think otherwise, but recording their activity (particularly when their body cameras appear to conveniently malfunction when they could offer damning evidence) has become our only way of watching the watchers. Understanding this, the ACLU has launched its own Mobile Justice app, opening a direct line to the social justice organization at a time when we need it most. Currently there's an app for 18 states with plans to expand to every state in the country in the weeks and months ahead. The video below displays precisely how the app works, submitting your videos to the ACLU as soon as an incident takes place.

In the wake of these mindless travesties, and a glaring disparity in conviction rates for the officers that perpetrate them, this may be our only line of defense. We just hope that each state can be included before it's too late. For more information and download links to the appropriate app for your state, hit the link below. Please be sure that you're safe and know your rights whenever engaging with an officer.
