Abra
The first lady of Awful Records, Abra, has really been making waves in 2015. Her debut project, BLQ VELVET, was cool, but it was her early summer EP, ROSE that really made me a fan (so much heat on there, I suggest you peep, if you haven’t already). Today, the Atlanta singer/songwriter/producer returns with this new joint, “Sick Girl.” In a time where it seems like most of the r&b we’re hearing is formulaic as ufck, I can appreciate Abra’s experimental, "lo fi glam pop" approach to her music… it’s tight.
