A Tribe Called Quest have released a trailer for their upcoming music video for "We The People."

The nearly 30 second clip is shot throughout different parts of New York City, with a group of people setting up speakers atop buildings.

The clip then transitions to Q-Tip as he begins to rap the opening lines, and is surrounded by a collection of microphones. From there the raps are broadcasted across the city, as people take to the streets to find out where it is coming from.

The past couple of weeks have been momentous for A Tribe Called Quest. The group released their highly anticipated sixth and final album We Got It From Here...Thank You 4 Your Service, as well as performed on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live (alongside host Dave Chappelle).

We Got It From Here is also projected to take the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart, marking their first number one debut since 1996's Beats, Rhymes & Life. The initial report (courtesy of Hits Daily Double) reported that the album (Tribe's first in 18 years) would sell 60,000 to 70,000 in its opening week. However, Billboard has reported that the figure is closer to 120,000 equivalent units. But an official report will arrive on November 20.

If you have been checking in with us lately, you will see that the website has been full of Tribe related stuff, including a secret history of We Got It From Here. A number of people contributed to that including: Questlove; Phife Dawg's manager and best friend Dion Liverpool (commonly known as DJ Rasta Root); his widow Deisha Taylor and Q-Tip's longtime friend and Beats 1 collaborator Gary Harris (commonly known to many as "the man who signed D'Angelo").

Check out the trailer below and if you have yet to purchase We Got It From Here from some strange reason, hit up our store and cop the record on vinyl.
