A TRIBE CALLED K. WEST
UPDATE: after the buzz about Tribe's reunion for Kanye West's NYC stop on the #Yeezus tour broke, yesterday Q-Tip of ATCQ took to the twitter to announce that these will not only be once in a lifetime onstage reunions, they will in fact be the last A Tribe Called Quest shows ever, of all times. In other words, I point at Q-Tip and he states:
"In August, ATCQ did our last show FOR Cali. It's only right we do our FINAL 2 joints where we started...NYC"
Damn. And they tried to blame J Dilla. Apparently Kanye is the Apocalyptic One. After him, there shall be none. No beats. No rhymes. No peoples. No instinctive travels. At least...until the next final show ever? I hope?

A Tribe Called Quest is set to reunite onstage for select performances during the New York City dates of Kanye West's Yeezus Tour, beginning November 19th. Tribe's addition to the bill follows recent news that Kendrick Lamar will be joining the tour during the New York stops. Tribe is reportedly slated to play dates at the Barclays Center and Madison Square Garden on November 20th and 24th, respectively. Dates for Brooklyn's Barclays Center have not been confirmed on their website. The Yeezus Tour kicks off on Sunday, October 19th in Seattle and runs through early December, ending in Houston on the 7th. Kanye West will be touring into early winter in support of his Yeezus LP, which dropped this past June.
