The last time The Roots crew were out in Europe, ?uestlove was interviewed in Hamburg, Germany by Mixery Raw Deluxe. In this two part interview, ?uesto discusses crate digging, politics, and the music biz. This one is pretty entertaining, it starts off with ?uesto doing a Q&A with Kermit the frog's cousin. ?uesto also sends out a challenge to Biz Markie, a fellow crate digging connoisseur. Part 2 of the the interview is after the jump.

Buy Vinyl!! I dig and dig and dig, got about 4,000 records… But 65,000 records is just insane, OCD is a gift and a curse. No other producer discusses sampling and beat digging like Questo! there really is a science behind it. Buying and listening to different records enhances creativity, especially if you’re producing or spinning. The man knows what he speaks of.
Great interview, real funny and very informative.
Keep diggin ?uesto, and keep making those classics!
great interview. lol Questlove is the man! peace out to my man falk!
Jazzy Jay once said he had about 400 to 500 thousand records. That’s insane.
