Video: Young Chris “Grown Thangs”

Last month, Young Chris dropped his latest mixtape, The Network (hosted by Don Cannon). Today we have the first official single from the Philly emcee, "Grown Thangs (prod. Ritz Reynolds)" featuring BJ. Video directed by Three /21 Media's Derek Pike. "The concept was pretty simple, Chris sees girl, Chris sweet talks girl, Chris gets girl…" You can also look forward to hearing Young Chris on The Roots upcoming album, How I Got Over.

this jawn is crazy… young chris’ music gets more and more sophisticated as the years go by… the instrumentation on this track is nice and smooth… Philly rappers need to keep making good product like chris and eventually the Roots won’t be the only relevant philly artists in the industry right now. good stuff
