I'd be ignoring far too many pioneers to say Wale is carrying the flag for the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia), but dude is without question bringing national notoriety to the region. Further proof of this can be found in MTV's upcoming documentary on the DMV. Check out this clip from the doc featuring Wale performing for the doc along with Tabi Bonney and the go-go band UCB.
