This past weekend, The Legendary Roots crew were among the performers for the 41st NAACP Image Awards. Above, watch as they collab with John Legend for their rendition of Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes' "Wake Up Everybody" (A Teddy P tribute, I'm sure). Perhaps this is a preview of the upcoming John Legend album, Wake Up Sessions, that will be entirely produced by The Roots and is said to drop sometime this year.
