Recently, Strong Arm Steady and Madlib released a heavily slept on album, In Search of Stoney Jackson. In what has so far been a slow year as far as hip-hop LPs are concerned, this project stood out for me. Above, watch footage from their release party at The Roxy in L.A. Guest attendees in the house included Black Thought, David Banner, Lil Duval, Sick Jacken, U-N-I, J Rocc, and more. Thought also rips the mic (with David Banner on beat box).
Spotted at nah right

SAS in search of is a Great album.
My question is when the hell is Black Thought gonna record that track official. I want that shit. I got the tony touch freestyle session but really tho, c’mon son! get in the studio with that shit asap!
Why dont black people go to good hip-hop shows?
Vamdamme: I’m feelin’ your question. Though I would say the good hip hop shows are not populated enough by healthy diversity which they deserve. You could ask the same question about good jazz shows. I would like to hear the perspective of SAS or Madlib.
