Video: Siji "Yearning For Home"

Posted by Shamz on

Let's take it to the motherland with this one (Naiji where you at?). Nigerian born artist Siji's recently put out his new video for "Yearning For Home." In the clip he conveys an immigrant's longing to return to his place of origin. Siji says "this song is dedicated to the many displaced around the world who by choice or circumstance find themselves without a place of sanctuary." Siji's album, Adesiji, is available now via itunes.

Man this song really touches me. Being that that is the place of my ancestors. I can really feel this. Even though my family may have been here for hundreds of years or more or even from another country other than Africa but we know being black that is our point of origin. Touching becasue i feel displaced here to and i just want to be there with my peoples at times
