I love the track he did on the Badu album, and I never listened to his music before (not a Sa-ra fan), so hopefully “her ass” will have the trickled down effect.

This seriously is as dope (maybe doper) than Nzingha’s Stewart’s Thierry Le Goues inspired “Soul Sista” vid she directed for Bilal basically a decade ago. Which is saying a lot in the realm of soul music videos since that was easily one of the best the last 10 years. Good to see artistry come up, as well as Bilal from the problems plaguing his last release. Can’t wait for more…

Both Shafiq and Bilal are amazing. The French vocals at the beginning of the video I believe are the same from Shafiq’s Le’Star song on his latest album. Her name is Ilhame Paris.
How come Shafiq did not use the French artist, who is on his track Le Star, for his video.
