Lyrically its there, but I expected better production on the album. The album ain’t bad, but its not fuckin with the first album (or Supreme Clientele). It’s on the same level as Fishscale. Dope, but not classic.

lets not talk about classic. Too many people focusing on the classic CD syndrome! This is an album, (yes I said album), a long time coming. It’s grown folks rap. No auto tunes, no 808 beats. No Skinny jeans, little shirts, or Mohawks, (God I hate that look). Just that old boom bap that made 90′s hip hop what it was. This is unlaced Timberland Rap! Not for guys that pencil in their eye brows and wear neon colored sneaks, (can you believe that guys do that and call themselves Gangsta)? It’s the Golden Era of Hip Hop making a statement. The statement being that our generation’s music was the best!

Common, Mos take note… maybe a Resurrection 2-sounds redundant- or a BOBS 2. Sometimes we gotta go back to move forward. The new trend is to provide sequels to old classics, not a bad idea. Rae got it locked now.
