Video: RZA’s Chess Teachings featured on ABC News

Well look at that, ABC news is actually shinning light on some of the positives in Hip-Hop. In the above clip, ABC features a story on how The RZA is using chess to keep kids out of jail. The Hip Hop Chess Federation is one of many different initiatives that members of the Hip-Hop community have put together in an effort to mentor the youth of this country. Unfortunately, more often than not, that is not the side of the Hip-Hop culture that gets any attention. Shout out to Bobby Digital for continuing to use his influence for the betterment of his community, after all, "Wu-Tang is for the babies."

RZA would say that’s cause the 85 are blind I guess… and that’s another side that doesn’t get any attention neither. Would it be good though ? I ain’t sure about that.

Actually the Hip Hop Chess Federation was founded and is spearheaded by Adisa Banjoko.

RZA’s been a great contributor but it’s not his thing.
