The other night, Target threw an album release party for Q-Tip at the Bowery Hotel in NYC. In this first video we get Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Talib Kweli, Mark Ronson, and RZA taking the mic to toast to the success of their friend, Q-Tip. After the jump is a vid of Tip performing "Award Tour" alongside his cousin Consequence, as well as a vid from the red carpet featuring interviews with Q-Tip, Ali Shaeed, 88-Keys, and the RZA. The Renaissance is out next Tuesday.

I’ve been offered Q-Tip’s album about THREE TIMES (shame on all of those who offered) but NOPE! iTunes midnight purchase status over here boss. I’m true to this industry. I PURCHASE albums, I buy songs if an album’s weak but has a few good joints. Q-Tip has my vote on Nov. 4th… iTunes… Midnight. I’m a Midnight Marauder for real. *ha*
