this would be great except pack fm falls into about 8 of the 10 catagories of wackness that masta ace mentions. especially the live show, its a yawn fest.
I guess this recession is the right time to officially hate f*cking rappers now, or is it ? Me, I don’t know if this is a gimmick to draw attention to a culture that can barely stand on its own anymore. Shit, even Lil’ Wayne and Kanye, damn near all the rappers that eat off rap, f*cking hate rap now, so this concept is not original. T somehow doubt there will be an MC revival anytime soon…at least not in the mainstream. I hope I’m wrong. F*ck rap !

although they make some valid points…
i fuckin hate rappers who cant cope with the fact that the industry is changing and things dont work the same way they did in 1993 anymore.
and i fuckin hate rappers who put out videos of themselves and all their friends complaining about sell-outs and quality control, when they are using the video to sell a tshirt.
yo its always been down to the fans to change whats the current trend. what did we do when things got ugly? not to much! and by fans im speaking on real, fans not cats that’ll cop a joint and forget about it. the cats that dont know the names of the tunes they pumpin, or what the difference btw rap/hiphop and rnb are, are the ones gettin making shyt ugly. i side with these cats, none of them have ever stopped working amidst all these bs upstarts and none of em will quit. its really about the fans making this happen.

yo man, 90% of the cats present rap, they’re speakin on what the term has become. kinda like hip hop and how it means r/b and rap in the commercial world.

When dudes Lupe and Mickey Factz say “I’m not a rapper I’m an artist” they saying that rap ain’t an art. but to be real, they only rap, they can’t sing, they don’t produce, all they do is rap really good. So, they are rappers who don’t have enough respect for what they do to go and claim it. I feel Pack F.M. on this one!
