This past Wednesday, Talib Kweli joined the company of DJ Premier, ?uestlove, Q-Tip, and Raekwon as he was the latest feature on Peter Rosenberg's part-interview-part-concert series, Noisemakers. The night was started off with Daru Jones and The Noise performing live versions of Kweli's songs. As the interview began, Kweli retold stories of his childhood, up to current day. He shared anecdotes about going to Detroit for the first time to work with Dilla, how Kanye has always been Kanye and his unconditional support for him (in response to Taylor-gate), the differences between working as Reflection Eternal and Black Star, being co-signed by Jay-Z, and more. At one point in the interview he describes Black Thought as the greatest "working MC" out, and of course we agree. Check after the jump for a few more vids form the night, including a short interview with Dantana where Kwe announces he is starting a super group called Noisemakers with the previous four honorees. Now that would be something.
