This past Tuesday, Muhsinah released her latest album, The Oscillations: Triangle. As we mentioned before, a majority of the album is self-produced, but it also includes production from Flying Lotus, Oddisee, Exile, and Mike Slott. Her latest vid from the project, "Always," falls under the self-produced category. Video directed by beeple.com. The Oscillations: Triangle is out now as an iTunes exclusive.

Track is crazy!!!
ooowheeeee!!!
SHE produced that?! hella good!
mmhh…my first impression of the song: sounds familiar. like a mash-up of some muhsinah songs. it’s still good, tho. but the video?? fffftt…i don’t know…too impersonal
songs dope… but i think the video felt seperate from the song…i dont see the connection. i mean the CG is cool…but what does it have to do with the artist or the song?
FYI -
The song is kind of a recession anthem… a modern day “Moving On Up” if you will.
The video depicts the American housing market spiraling out of control. The Message in the words remind us that we “Might not know where the week might go” because we often go from “wall to wall paint and bank to bank”; but also ensures us that if we keep a positive “action and thought (that smile)” we will surely get what we’ve earned, “Always”.
i love muhsinah. been listening to her music for a couple years now extra hard. her and tawiah from london, and alice smith. black women making dope music! so wit it.
