Video: Karriem Riggins Virtuoso Experience – “Tergiversation”

I'm mad Karriem Riggins' Virtuoso Experience didn't make any stops in NY, but with this vid, those of us who missed the show get an inside peak at what the night entailed. In this clip we see Karriem and his ensemble perform a song titled "Tergiversation" (originally performed by Gene Perla). "Tergiversation is a term that describes an evasion of straightforward action of clear-cut statement. Perla dedicated the song to jazz legend Miles Davis, a tergiversationist if there ever was one, who often turned his back towards the audience as he played." Shout out to Mochilla and VTech for this one, and make sure to be on the lookout next time Karriem comes to your town.
