I don’t like his album at all. Auto tune stuff and some weak beats that’s what’s up, but I’m not hating on him. I gotta admit it: Kanye has made some brilliant tracks. Coldest Winter is one of them. Genius

Dope video for a semi dope pop song.
But it`s still very much of the fast food variety; good for a quick fix but since there`s no substance you get over it pretty quickly.
And for the record, this record has pushed no boundaries. It`s main appeal is Ye`s vulnerability being showcased and the crossover of genres. But the lyrics are wack, beats are lacking and the tunes are… well…autotuned, shiiit.
He better drop some absolute bangers to follow this bleakness.

I think 808′s is too underrated. Kanye gets no credit at all for a groundbreaking album. The more I listen to it the more I realize it’s his best work and one of the best hip-hop albums to drop in awhile. I hope he keeps reinventing music for us to enjoy.
why does music have to be classified? Rap is no different from rock or pop. Drums, strings, synths, samples, lyrics, chorus. Music is the same. If you really listen to 808′s he is rapping alot on the album, as a matter of fact this song here he is rapping. He isn’t trying to be luther vandros or brian mcknight. Sometimes you need to sing to really express yourself and add feeling to what your saying. The words of the song are no less impressive than they used to be, they are delivered in a slightly different manner 808′s is a great fucking album like all kanye’s work. I admit this cat has lost his damn mind but his music is fresh.

Video concept is tight, the beat is good too. Could of done without Kanye though, get someone who can actually spit on the track and it would be sick.
Video is hot…fits very well with the album concept. Was not a fan of this album but you can’t deny that there are some hot joints on it. Kanye is using music (hip hop) to serve one of its purpose, telling listeners whats on your mind…brotha is going through some things (Mother’s death and fiance breakup) and he’s using his music as a release. Point of reference Marvin Gaye “what’s going on” if you want to question that! I feel ya, so keep doing ya thing! All ths suckas on here hating need to check themselves because if you listen to the radio at all then you’ve heard way worse…especially the cats that say 50 has any skill at all (only raps about $, woman and cars)! Guess you would like the video if there was some a** shakin in it. Kanye is talented and though you might not like everythings he does, he is still one of hip hop shining stars (music and lyrics).
