Of all the Kanye leaks this is still my favorite. The autotune actually sounds like it belongs on this song. Here is the animated video for Kanye's "Heartless" off 808s and Heartbreak, in stores 11/25. Without a doubt, Kanye is one of the most creative artists doin it today. He always put thought into his videos and makes them original rather than the club scenes, cars and pool parties of most hip-hop videos. I've got mixed feelings about 808's and Heartbreaks from what I've seen so far, but I'll still cop it.
Too bad he had to smoke in this video though. You know that's going to influence all those young ones that idolize him.

I can't believe the level of ignorance in all of these comments. Kanye is a real artist. He evolves and goes with his creative impulses. He is a fantastic producer, composer, mc. This new direction he's taking is just one of many he'll take, watch and see. If you're frustrated with his interviews, just try to look at it from his perspective: There is a lot of bullshit out here, Kanye isn't bullshit but he has to stand on the winners block with some ultimate bullshit. The scene is laden with crap and this frustrates him as it should any artist hoping for change and proactively creating music that can be a catalyst for that.
For those of you who are talking about his looks, you're just jive. As far as I'm concerned he's fine as hell.

Video was awesome, and Heartless is the best I've heard of 808s so far (although that's not saying too much). I admit that I was a bit surprised at Ye's maturity in the interview. He's had some knee jerk reactions in the past that make him seem arrogant and/or ignorant, but this showed that he has some promise. Who knows, he could become as big as the Beatles one day. He just has to show maturity in his music as well.

PERIOD! whenever one of his styles gets popular or stagnant he re-invents himself. he deserves so much more credit for establishing a visual language to many good and bad popular music and culture. There's something cool about that song but at the same time... its very lack luster. It doesn't have much to it, and the song formating is rather dry. I hope to find something more interesting on the album. As far as the interview goes, I understood what he was getting at, its awkward because I always feel like he speaks like inner thoughts, and the things he says would maybe be better as thoughts. Please don't tell me you are trying to make a classic record... and just DO IT! please allow me to decide if its classic and timeless.
