I purchased both “How I Got Over” and my son purchased “Wake-Up” for me for the holiday . Love them both, I keep how I got over in the car and wake up in the office. These guys are so very talented and I don’t really like this type of music but my eyes are opened to any artists that can play some type of instrument – The Roots indeed fit the enjoyment and listening bill.
I love them! I watch Jimmy Fallon just for this band alone!

this is a very inspiring album. im particularly moved by “compared to what” and “wake up”. it’s interesting how relevant the topics covered in this album are to events unfolding in Cairo (Egypt). the world has more in common than we realize, when songs cover the basic human issues that concern us all.
