Last night I hit up Highline Ballroom for the OnSmash Invasion featuring Jay Electronica and Joell Ortiz. It was a sweat box/dude fest in there, but the show was on some real hip-hop ish. It was a shame to see a few of the opening acts get booed to no end, but it was all love with the later part of the show. Joell Ortiz brought out DJ Premier, Novel, Fat Joe, Styles P, Joe Budden, Sean Paul, Jim Jones, and more to rock with him on stage. Jay Electronica held it down for dolo, and did his thing regardless (hopped into a packed crowd to perform "Exhibit C").
