Jay-Z penned this year's NY anthem with "Empire State of Mind" featuring Alicia Keys. The video debuted today, and since it seems to be giving my Yanks good luck, I'll let this one bump 'til we get that ring (yeah, that'll make 27). The Blueprint 3 is in stores now. Video directed by Hype Williams.

i love this song...i dont think the video fits it though. i mean they're talking bright lights and what not, why make it black and white?

Interesting choices. Very simple video for an epic sounding song. All in all, one of Jay's better videos, but it's no "99 Problems"
