Video: Jay Electronica Live From Somewhere Show NYC + Jay Elec x Mos Def x Curren$y

I was waiting for some better quality footage to turn up, and here we have it, a HQ video recap of Jay Electronica's secret show at Santos Party House NYC this past Tuesday (vid shot by Adam Saewitz). In other Jay Elec news, apparently he has joined forces with Mos Def and fellow N.O. emcee Curren$y to form the group, Center Edge Territory. They are supposedly 6 tracks deep into the project, but have no set plans as to when the full-length album will drop. Watch as Curren$y speaks on the project after the jump.

BTW, does anyone know why Jay-Elec doesn't perform any of his "WTF is a Jay-Electronica" mixtape? like, he went accapella on "Dimethyltriptamine" in the show, i cant imagine why he wouldnt drop that beasty dilla track on any of his shows

STZA if not sold on curren$y check out Fast Times at Ridgemont Fly, Fear and Loathing in New Orleans, How Fly, Higher than 30,000 feet...there's about four more tapes i would recommend...all the tapes he's put out independently under the fly society label are ill.
