Janelle Monae was recently a guest on Cee-Lo Green's new Fuse TV show, Lay It Down. I always find it infinitely more interesting when one creative artist interviews another, as opposed to a journalist – so I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Before the interview starts, Janelle gives us a performance of "Sincerely, Jane." During the sit down we also get a performances of "Dance or Die" and "Tightrope." If you have 20 minutes this is a good watch – though I'm still wondering if Cee-Lo and Janelle called each other beforehand and coordinated that white frill-collar look.
