Video: Gorillaz “Welcome to The World of Plastic Beach” feat. Snoop Dogg

The Gorillaz send out Snoop Dogg as our tour guide to introduce us to their mythical island, Plastic Beach. Watch their new video "Welcome to The World of The Plastic Beach." As impressive as some of their other videos have been, I was hoping for a little more with this one. Still love the album though – hopefully they'll make a video for one of those Little Dragon tracks (I heart Yukimi). Plastic Beach is in stores now.

This was never intended to be the “music video” for this song. It was meant to go along with the live show. It plays on the big screen behind the band when they perform the song. Gorillaz released this on YouTube for the fans. Consider that before judging it too harshly.

Yeah this looked great on palladia & cosign heartin Yukimi of Little Dragon. Empire Ants isn’t epic (cause I hate that word) but you get my drift.

lol yeah this isn’t supposed to be a music video, this was just Snoop’s digital appearance that plays in the background for the world tour.

Which was amazing by the way, Gorillaz are probably the best concert I’ve ever been to. Buy this album.
