I like this song. I dont feel “little Wayne” adds anything to it. CAN HE JUST GO AWAY?!?!?! lil wayne you suck and you make no sense. Are you the only rapper nowadays? Do you have to be on every freakin song? Im not buying into that BS. eff you. Leave me alone Lil wayne. go away!

  12. avatar nexttimemind

This is a stupid video and the song is not interesting… I respect everyone’s opinion and taste but I wonder why most of you don’t demand more from the music. Anyhow to each their own but I think you should hold artist more responsible because this some low level B.S. from someone who is capable of more…

  13. avatar Promeneur

I dont like the video either, but the song is good

  14. avatar Steel

This is SO DOPE! The visual go perfect with the sound. Unlike most cats I DIG the song! It’s so refreshing to see Mrs. E doing her instead of what everyone expects her to do.

  15. avatar feladela

Uh, I for one am not expecting the same old out of badu because the other track that leaked is Badu doing that”expected” sound and it is dialed in song and performance as well. I think doing your thing would involve pushing yourself for more instead of banking on people to just accept it because you were dope in the past which is what I hear her and a lot of those cats from the neo-soul heyday doing… I can understand liking the song a bit.. but DOPE is an overstatement big time…..

  16. avatar Specs Menace

Hate if you want. Weezy and Erykah is a good look. Fun song. Vid’s alright, doesn’t tickle my fancy.

  17. avatar Steel

You stated my point exactly…the reason this song is DOPE is simply because it’s so different than what is expected. Besides that it has the Parliment/Funkadelic bounce that it’s supposed to. So I will overstate it again…DOPE!

  18. avatar mic mirage

peops havent gota clue bout the hot boy so they jus diss

  19. avatar Prof O

what do emcees really ‘rap’ about anyway?

    1. how they are the best rapper alive
    2. how they can get women/get high/get money with minimal effort
    3. social issues.

    2 outta 3 isn’t bad.

not a weezy fan but there’s no need to read too much into it. its a good track… nod ya head and be happy.

Yesterday I heard 1000 deaths and I was blown away, yet stuck to the earth. Today I hear this ish right here ! OMG ! Erykah has got to be D’Angelo’s mirror image or kindred spirits of sorts. “I love this track” is an understatement and that statement itself is an understatement ! And Lil’ Wayne went nuuuuts ! He added a whole freking lot to the song, besides the space age lyricism that he occasionally brings ! This made my day. Let me press repeat !

  21. avatar dcnydc

i love all of erykah ish, this joint was the ish…! it did’nt matter if little wayne was on it or not but with bilal most def.

  22. avatar DeeNiteStar

I Love Erykah!! Canh’t wait for it to drop! Refreshing…I’m tired of the same ol ish

  23. avatar Kriss

  24. avatar ILL 7

Dope video dope song concept I liked it

  25. avatar wegod

Wonder what ms.badu meant by the last scene where her finger touches wayne’s and the light she has on her hand goes to wayne. hmmmmmm.

  26. avatar bittagenius

I can’t deny that I expected A LOT more from my diva. Kinda frustrated, but anyway, good luck on her album’s career!

  27. avatar Luvlycreature

Cosmic FUNK! Badu never let’s us down

  28. avatar iceman

ok, song is a cool next level concept, from the music to the video. that was the whole purpose. let’s all agree to disagree. whoever likes it, let’s go!! whoever doesn’t, that’s fine. it may not be for you. people like and dislike different things. doesn’t matter. like or don’t like what you choose, but respect people for what THEY choose.

glad E. Badu is back! missed ya earthtones baby!! that expansion music where the common-minded may get lost in oblivion! Go Erykah!!

  29. avatar LES FROM NEW ORLEANS

im sorry but this song sucks

  30. avatar Liquidblackman

Not feelin it either! neither track! Maybe i’m behind, but I like jazzy/soulful erykah.. Funky erykah is an aquired taste like grey poupon.. Give me French’s PLS thanks!!!..

  31. avatar the ego

When Erykah is souful I can drink her all day! I’m always in conflict though with her funkier songs. Lastly, CAN WE PLEASE STOP HEARING LIL WAYNE ON EVERYTHING! (and I know I’m hatin’- God bless that young man, but please throw all of his albums in the garbage. Love the man but hate most his music)
