As part of the Scion Easy 10 series, Anthony Marshall made this short 17 minute doc about one of our living legends, Brooklyn's finest, BDK. This Brother DEFINITELY needs a documentary on his illustrious career. And here is an idea, SOMEBODY TELL KANE TO DO HIS OWN VERSION OF JAY-Z’S “BROOKLYN (WE GO HARD)! We need that in our life! Be Blessed!

People are all about BIG and Tupac being the greatest of all time, but you have to wonder if these people ever heard artist like Big Daddy Kane. Back when hip hop wasn’t about calling women bitches and nigger was used a lot less in rhymes. The “Golden Era” of hip hop. There need to be more murals of cats like Big Daddy Kane, plus it would be nice to hear a new album from the man himself. At the very least a mixtape with new material.

It’s a well put together documentary. Sadly it’s only flaw (if you want to call it that) is that it should have been longer. Looking forward to next in the series like many probably are. Good work.

Big Daddy Kane is one of the greatest to ever pick up a mic. He was truly a gifted emcee. He had it all: the punchlines, smooth flows, flawless delivery, etc. I just wish he would come out with some new high quality material (the right production is especially critical) and show how this hip hop thing is really supposed to be done.

B.D.K. one of the very greats to ever bless the mic period! Peace and Blessings to those who have passed but in my opinion they didn’t impact hip-hop like Kane did. He’s so dope he shows you that it’s still on in the video with the current flow. Amazing! That’s hip-hop!

Man this is what Hip Hop is about This is what the hoods about love respect. We should never forget and always should share this with our children our blessings. Should not become our children’s curse because we don’t educate them.

Peace love and Hip-Hop LIVE THE DREAM

I was still really young when BDK was doing his thing, but I still can remember a few 12′ LP’s my mom had that they’d rock house parties with. BDK is covered in gold chains and women out front of this lavish mansion. Much respect to the pioneers of the world’s most influential art form REAL Hip-Hop.
