Yesterday marked the three year anniversary of Dilla's passing, but that doesn't mean we're going to stop posting about him. Jay Dee was far too significant to remember in just one post, so we'll continuing to shed light on his legacy today (and for the rest of the week). Hip Hop Official went to the city Dilla repped, Detroit, and got some words from the many artists who collaborated with and were heavily influenced by him. This video features Detroit emcess Elzhi, Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, and Buff1.
