So I got about a thousand tweets last night urging us to check out this MC out of New Orleans Dee-1. A 5 minute rap video might cause some to hesitate to press play, but I promise you this one is worth every second of your time. The title, "Jay, 50, Weezy" might have you thinking it's another rapper tryna diss the top dogs to make a name for himself, but in reality it's a very thoughtful and well done message lending some constructive criticism. Video directed by B.Mike. Dee-1's project, I Hope They Hear Me Vol.2, is coming soon.
