Not a day passes without some new Common content. It's good to see they're going hard to support this album, because it definitely deserves it. The other day Common stopped by the new Mecca for all things Hip-Hop, The Ellen DeGeneres show, and performed "Make My Day" off UMC with some help from Mr. Cee-Lo Green. Lol at Common 2 steppin' with Ellen.

Okay, this album needs to be released in a live version for real!!! I went to one of his shows recently and I heard a few songs, after picking up the album…these joints sound so much better live! This is a fun album, it’s what it’s supposed to be nothing more, nothing less. Common always tells you what the albums are going to be that and that’s what they are. He’s long said this album was fun, dance, something different. The next one gonna be FIRE though! No I.D. plus Kanye is what I’m hearing WOW!

I’m a big fan of Hip-Hop and i don’t understand why some people don’t like this album [UMC]! Maybe there is 1 or 2 songs on this album that i don’t like that much neither! I don’t think that Common is a sell out! He is not the one talking about b****z, cars, money like everybody is doing these dayz. This is just a party album and Common will be back to the same artist we all know! Don’t be so negative and tough against him! He is still dancing Hip-Hop on his shows! Are there many rappers binging the real hip hop live? By the way, the video was great! Love from Greece!!!

Common is having fun with this album and doing a little experimenting. I think it’s cool because he can’t be always so serious about certain issues. Sometimes you have to sit back and have fun, crack a smile and just chill. Then when you are ready get serious again. All work and no play gets boring and we all know it. Plus the album does has some serious notes on it.
And to the brother who said he has been rapping to the middle class white people the last two albums I doubt you are seriously listening to his lyrics. You sound just like the critics that said all Jay-Z is about is money and hoes. He may have advocated that in a lot of his earlier music but that was not his sole focus.
Put on some quality headphones and listen. That and mellow out because you seem wound up too tight.
