Video: Common Discusses Universal Mind Control

As we mention daily, Common's new album, Universal Mind Control, is in stores next Tuesday (12/9). In this video Com speaks freely on his own behalf as he goes over the album track by track letting us know why he chose to put each song on the album, and what he personally loves about each. That being said, we thought fans would especially appreciate hearing directly from the artist like this.

Is this gonna' be like "Electric Circus" was in 02? That's one of those albums that went misunderstood, but on a later listen, it made sense.

I am CONVINCED that 808's and Heartbreak, and Universal Mind Control are like "one listen...you go "m'eh"a bit...put it away for a while, then come back to it a few weeks/months later and it makes sense" type of albums...
Thats not necessarily a bad thing...i just aint in denial.
