Video: Black Milk HHO Artist of the Week & Tronic Tracklisting
Posted by Shamz on Aug 27, 2008
Hip-Hop Official's artist of the week is Black Milk. We here at OKP definitely ride for dude as he's without question one of the top up and coming producers in the game. He's also one of the few producers/rappers that I can listen to a whole album of. Speaking of which, Milk also has a new LP coming out called Tronic on October 28th via Fat Beats Records. The features on the album include Pharoahe Monch, Royce Da 5'9, Dwele, Sean Price, DJ Premier and more. Follow me after the jump for the tracklisting.

sick album title.
And shouting out to RBG: Dude, he's not ripping off J dilla and even if he was that would be a blessing, because anyone who can replicate or even get close to what J Dilla used to create is worthy of our respect.
If someone was able to make music almost as great as Bob Marley or Jimi Hendrix, would u listen to it and respect it? I would, cuz the only sad thing about losing such great artists is that they take their talent to the grave, but the most important thing they leave behind is their Influence.
Also, Brad of Sublime put it the best: "Start off by copying other people's songs, and if you have a knack for it, then start creating your own"
Cuz by then you'll have the influence of those songs embedded in you.
So the new sound you create will be influenced, and so on and so forth, beautiful music gets passed on and it evolves.
Don't hate

Yo RBG. If you notice for the most part all of the Detroit producers sounds are similar. It's a vintage sound and the sound of the city. "no pun intended" If you really take it back Ta'raach formerly known as Lacks was cranking out that D sound first.
