Video: Black Milk Broadcast - R.I.P. BAATIN
Posted by Shamz on Aug 04, 2009
The latest edition of Black Milk's Broadcast takes on a different spin as he honors his long time friend, and fellow Detroit representative, Titus "Baatin" Glover. "Baatin was the first to discover Black's production talent nearly a decade ago, and they'd been tight ever since. On July 20--less than two weeks before Baatin's death--the reunited Slum Village filmed a video for a new track from their forthcoming album, Slum Manifesto. Black Milk Broadcast reveals some exclusive footage from the video shoot."

Baatin brought an incredible energy to the group. I was so excited to learn from Elzhi that Baatin would be reunited with SV ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXEq9G08z4Q ) He certainly will be missed. I was there at the event that Black mentioned and they were displaying that vinyl proudly. Very few of us knew it even existed. I know that it is becoming a lost medium, but Vinyl still has wings.
