For an LP that was waited on for umpteen years, the fanfare seemed to wear off rather quick for Big Boi's solo debut, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. The album is definitely worth checking – luckily they're keeping the momentum going by dropping another vid today. Here's the latest visual "You Aint No DJ" featuring Alabama spitter, Yelawolf. At any rate, this album was stellar. One of the best of the year. However, in these times of Drake penis riders and Minaj vagina riders, real artists are not getting any album sales or love for that matter. Yet, that does not matter if these rap cats stop messing with major labels, and go independent. In effect, if you sell 250,000, and have more points coming your way, that is more loot in pocket.
Yelawolf is nice. Don’t like him on here though. His mixtape is solid. Big Boi is just plain dope.
