Roots Pre-Picnic Jam Session!

It's not longer just The Roots Picnic ... it's now The Roots Picnic WEEKEND! Friday night is the kick-off with the Pre-Picnic Jam Session "The Hors D'Oeuvres" featuring Santogold, The Randy Watson Experience (?uesto, Bilal, Robert Glasper, + James Poyser), Janelle Monáe, and The Roots. Sadly Santogold will no longer be able to perform at the Picnic on Saturday, so make sure you catch her at Hors D'Oevres Friday night. If you already purchased tix to the Picnic, you not only have 1st chance to buy tix to the pre-picnic jam, but you also get a major discount! Hit up the TLA box office (between Noon and 6:00pm) with your Roots Picnic Ticket, or a print-out of your confirmation number, and cop Jam Session tix for only $20. Regular ticket price (without Roots Picnic ticket) is $35. And if you've been paying attention you know how the Roots fam gets down with the jam sessions... this one is worth the lunch money, and not to be missed!

Ripped Off... how so? line up changes happen, especially at multi act events. How is it dishonest that Santogold can't perform? maybe I don't have all the facts, but from the info that's been supplied, if you were gonna be mad at anyone, Reason would dictate your anger should be directed at SantoGold.

Yeah I think we're all feeling the bitter spell of shelling out nearly $70 of our dough to support the acts promised on the original billing for the Roots Picnic. It seems quite a bit shiesty to subtract a quality act from the original line up, and then switch Santogold, to her own show. Good for her, not so good for those looking forward to seein her perform. Not a nice thing to do to do to long time fans and supporters of the Roots. Boo.

i bought picnic tickets and got a hotel room. wanted to see santi...now for 20 more bucks and another night of hotel i can see her friday night...effin rip off...i would have just gone to friday nights show if effin ?uesto would have advertised truthfully

WTF I purchased tickets to the Picnic coming from 10 hrs. away and one big reason was to see Santogold I've been ripped off how can I get my money back? I've seen the Roots and Sharon Jones I was there for Santi and now nothing way to not let anyone know about this earlier assholes.
