Philly's Own Jazmine Sullivan Needs U Bad

Philly native Jazmine Sullivan cuts her first major label album with J Records and releases her single "Need U Bad" produced by Missy Elliot and Lamb. But Sullivan isn't brand new to the game. She spent years honing her chops at Philly's own Black Lily (the legendary female-based weekly jam session), alongside Jill Scott, Floetry, and The Roots fam. Now your hometown girl is set to release a record with production from the likes of Missy, Salaam Remi, Jack Splash, Tricky, Wyclef, and more. Enough with the comparisons to Lauryn Hill. She's in a different vocal category than Ms. Hill (no better no worse just diff.) Her voice ozzes jazz and gospel influence even on uptempo pop tracks produced by Missy.
