Philly native Jazmine Sullivan cuts her first major label album with J Records and releases her single "Need U Bad" produced by Missy Elliot and Lamb. But Sullivan isn't brand new to the game. She spent years honing her chops at Philly's own Black Lily (the legendary female-based weekly jam session), alongside Jill Scott, Floetry, and The Roots fam. Now your hometown girl is set to release a record with production from the likes of Missy, Salaam Remi, Jack Splash, Tricky, Wyclef, and more. Keep your ears perked, you're sure to be hearing more about Ms. Jazmine Sullivan soon.

Jazmine Sullivan is really great. Love her voice! Just recently heard about her. Glad my brother got me onto this. Lovin it
I like it.
Whoa! She obviously finished off a big bag of Lauryn Hill Hard candies before she laid the vocals on this joint! Mmmm….still sweet tastin’, too! LOL! REWIND!!!
amazing.
Lovely… Ur voice is Lovely gurl. U definetly remind me of Jennifer Hudson and Lauryn Hill.
Wait… She sounds like the light skinned jawn in Floetry. LOL:)Dont mind me I just listened to this song like 4 times:)
MAKE SURE U LOOK HER UP ON U TUBE!!!
Enough with the comparisons to Lauryn Hill. She’s in a different vocal category than Ms. Hill (no better no worse just diff.) Her voice ozzes jazz and gospel influence even on uptempo pop tracks produced by Missy.
She’s Dope. She and my son went to CAPA. I knew who she was a few years ago. Wish she could’ve come thru the studio, but now J record’s got her. Hope they treat her right. Industry Rule # 4080
Nice voice. I wish her a brillant career.
This shit is Fire!! Definitely reminds me of lauryn hill mixed wit Chrissete Michele!! Cant wait for this cd!!
Full vocals, no visible sign of computer help. I likes. The bridge reminds me of Ex-Factor.
