We all love to see artists like Mos Def and Goapele put on a show, but this Sunday they're using their talents for something more rewarding, to help bring science to the youth. On Sunday (9/5) Goapele will be hosting the I.S.I.S. Science & Culture Festival at the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, California. The day will feature NASA's first ever holographic presentation featuring Mos Def & Astronaut Leland Melvin, encouraging the youth to embrace science, math & discovery. Says Mighty Mos of the event: "Leland Melvin and myself are working with the Instituting Science in Schools Program, sponsored by NASA and I'm just here to give the young people some inspiration, some positive encouragement and some good information about science, technology, creativity and discovery and how to use math, science and information to make a positive impact and changes on the world around us." This is a free event running from 11am-5pm. Check after the jump for the flyer, and some behind the scenes footage with Mos and Leland.
