That's right, tonight is your first chance to get a preview of what's to come on The Roots' new album, How I Got Over. Tonight on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, The Roots will be performing the title track/lead single off of the album, "How I Got Over." We will, of course, give you the video footage tomorrow, but we know y'all don't wanna wait that long so tune in tonight!
Some of you will recall that the initial street date for HIGO was actually YESTERDAY. Tonight's performance was booked months ago and never got moved once the release date changed to October 20th. The track will be released as the first single off the record as early as next week. Collectors and vinyl heads should be on the look out for special edition 12″ featuring the title track on the A-Side, and on the B-Side, a collector's item "Art Sketch." Also, Billboard reports that the video is set to drop in early July.
