Tomorrow is the release date for El Alcalde Del Barrio – The Architect of the Nuyorican Sound, a posthumous release from Joe Cuba. Joe Cuba has was credited for creating Boogaloo and being the catalyst behind the Nuyorican movement. "Bang Bang" is probably one of his most recognizable songs. In celebration of this new release in NYC, Chico Mann, DJ Bobbito Garcia, The Boogaloo Assassins, and more will be performing at this free release event at Le Poisson Rouge on Wednesday February 24th.
