NYC: This Saturday, at Prospect Park Bandshell, bare witness to one of the most legendary lyricists hip-hop has to offer, Big Daddy Kane. 20 years plus in the game, and dude still has one of the livest sets you can see. Presented by Celebrate Brooklyn and Lyricist Lounge, BDK will be performing with his band, Connie Price and The Keystones. As if that wasn't enough you also get performances by Blitz The Ambassador, Emilio Rojas, and the Retro Kidz. The night will also feature Rahzel feat. DJ JS-1, an exclusive brooklyn tribute video mix by VJ Ralph Mcdaniels, along with a screening of BDK: The Big Daddy Kane Story. On top of all that, this is a FREE! event. The show starts at 7:30pm sharp, don't miss out.

I was thinking of going down to Brooklyn this weekend, but I realized that I already bought $70 tickets for the Newport Jazz Festival here in Rhode Island. At least I get to see Mos Def tomorrow.

I second that homie, Ohio is pretty wack these days. Especially Dayton. Never seem to get any shows in Dayton or the Nati anymore!
