The time is nearing once again. Murs & Guerilla Union just made the first announcement for the 6th annual Paid Dues Festival. It's going down April 2nd at the Nos Events Center in San Bernardino, California. The whole lineup hasn't been revealed yet, but Murs informed us of three of the headliners: Immortal Technique, Murs, and Mos Def & Talib Kweli. That's right, Black Star will be uniting on stage for this event. The complete lineup will be revealed next month. Also note worthy, is that Paid Dues will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles this year, for the first ever Paid Dues Habitat project. "On February 12, 2011, 25 fans will have the opportunity to work alongside MURS, Guerilla Union staff and other PAID DUES artists to help make a difference for hardworking families and individuals in need of simple, sustainable and affordable housing, in the greater Los Angeles area. The Paid Dues Habitat Project will help HFH GLA continue to offer low-income families and individuals a hand up, not a hand out, by providing them with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build and own their own homes."
