Michael Jackson Remembered

A year ago today, the world of music, and the world as a whole were dealt a heavy blow with the passing of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Many people are taking time out to pay tribute to MJ today – in the above vid put together by Billboard, 25 stars pay tribute to Michael. As a bonus, Stones Throw producer, Oh No has something as well. "A few years ago hip hop producer Oh No decided to remix the whole Off The Wall album, turning it into hip hop beats since Oh No’s real name is Michael Jackson. He called it Michael Jackson vs Michael Jackson and due to the sample heavy nature, just did it for fun, never to release. This video was made by Tim Nable.” Watch the video after the jump. Did anyone else get to watch TV Guide’s Michael Jackson special, Gone Too Soon, last night? It was awesome! It really delved into the reasons behind his death!

It’s sad to see the mockery. MJ was a considered a living punchline, until he died. Now in death, he is sanctified. Now when it matters none, people talk about how much they “respected” him. Now that it can have no effect on him, and can only bolster more attention on themselves do “stars” speak up about their “admiration”. Pathetic.
